05/17/12 UpdateThe first weekend that we have had in a while that didn't involve traveling to a race and what do the majority of people that make up TiscoRacing do? They spend several days out at the Springtown Training Facility prepping the track (then doing it all over again when a severe storm blew through) and the rest of the time slinging mud everywhere. This is a prime example of why we do what we do, we literally love it. Go figure.

05/01/12 UpdateI guess uncertain weather is not restricted to Texas, as the weather in Salt Lake City was very diversified this week. It ranged from high 80 degree temperatures during the middle of the week, to heavy rains on Thursday night and early Friday am. Things settled into a very cool, slightly breezy and beautiful clear day Saturday for the races. This was another week in a row that the Dirt Wurx crew did a great job in supplying a good racing surface.
04/17/12 UpdatePositive side of New Orleans Supercross: great weather, huge dome, lots of beads (can not tell you what needed to be done to obtain these, as this site is rated PG-13) and some fantastic racing. Negative side of the event: the fact that we could not get into the stadium to park and set up our rig until midnight Friday night, which really puts a rush in getting everything set up and getting ready for an already crammed Saturday program. There is nothing like going through a full day and night of racing with a sleep deprived crew. Should I dare say that this sounds like some mismanagement on the promoters part.
04/03/12 UpdateHouston! Houston! Houston! Whats not to like about Houston (except the humidity, mosquitoes, grid lock traffic - oops I got side tracked there), especially the Supercross held in the Reliant Stadium. The racing was fantastic and rather bizarre as we saw some great heat race battles and main events that were wild. Crowd favorite Kevin Windham crashed while chasing James Stewart, who was to go on and crash out in the main event. Justin Barcia threw away a sure thing win less than a half of a lap away from victory when he tangled with a lapped rider (can I say a little impatient and not thinking clearly), but I am fairly certain that the large bonus check for a win that is not going into his bank account this week will sharpen up his thought pattern the next time he is in this position.

05/08/12 UpdateLas Vegas!!! The last race of a great series and it held it's own in good racing and excitement even though the championships in each class had already been decided. The crowd was wild and the racers were going for all the gusto. The only draw backs to this fine event were: a small outside stadium, wind & dust, and the cloud of cigarette smoke that filled all the casinos.
04/24/12 UpdateOf all the visits I have made to the Seattle Supercross, the weather on this trip has to have been the best (sunshine, mild temperatures and no rain). The only thing better than the weather was the racing, which was intense to say the least. One of the nicest guys in the field, Andrew Short picked up his first Supercross class main event win after a fierce battle with Ken Roczen. The Lites class was just as intense with great rides by not only the title contenders but also Marvin Musquin, Will Hahn and Cole Seely.
04/10/12 UpdateThe team had a much needed break in the racing schedule. The fact that the off weekend fell on Easter was a plus. This holiday represents the ultimate sacrifice in order to save each and everyone of us from the sins that mankind has brought onto our self's. It is entirely overwhelming for me to comprehend this magnitude of love and sacrifice. Sure all of us that are parents would gladly give up everything (even our life) for our children, but to do it for strangers that may or may not love us in return is something that just staggers me.
New arenacross track videoWe have a new video online of Mike, and Ozzy riding on the new arenacross track at the TISCO Racing Training Facility.
