Southwick Race Report

Sand, sand everywhere, but I couldn't find the beach. I guess I need to get me a better map. All joking aside, the weather and track conditions could not have been any better. With a high in the lower 80's and lows at night around 60, this Texas boy was enjoying himself. The racing was intense to say the least and there was a lot of lows and highs at the finish of the 1st moto. Most of the drama resulted from inadequate fuel supply and abused clutches, along with the expected crashes caused by the ever changing track

Unadilla Race Report

Lows in the 70's and highs in the low 80's. When I got off the plane in New York the first thing that I was regretting was the fact that I forgot a sweater. We won't have weather in Texas like this for several more months. The track in New Berlin was prepared better than I have seen in many years. The racing this weekend was also some of the best in recent memory. Tisco Racing had a lot of traffic in the pits this weekend. Michael was kept busy with autograph signings and the members of the local CMA did a wonderful job of

July 31 Update

The off weekend race reports are about to come to an end, as the last part of the season is upon us. This next week will find Tisco Racing at Loretta Lynns, where we will be getting our feet wet on the amatuer circuit. We will be there to show support for Reece Dunlap in his quest for a good overall finish and to see what possibilities maybe in the future for an expanded Tisco Racing Amatuer Program. Dylan Marsh had a very successful outing in Ponca City this last week. For a young man going into this level of racing with a limited

August 21 Update

The time is drawing near to the home stretch of the 2010 National Outdoor Season. Starting this weekend at Southwich Ma., we then go to Steel City Pa., and then all the way west to the new Pala facility in Southern California. Wow! What a way to put the finishing touches on an exciting season. Michael has been putting in some punishing practice stints at our Springtown facility. He should be ready for anything that mother nature has in store for the team at Southwich, as it has not been below 3 digits in Texas for about a month.

Loretta Lynn Race Report

It is simply amazing how some things are the same even though they are different. The players are different and the rigs are bigger, but the core elements are the same. The weather was as hot and humid as ever, there was a huge thunder storm, and the competition was as close and intense as ever. Go figure. Reece had his share of problems and didn't achieve the results he was hoping for, but he did have some really exciting moments during the week. The kid definitely has the heart and desire to compete at this level. Tisco Racing

Washougal Race Report

I know that you all have heard the saying " Don't mess with Mother Nature". We must have did something to rile her up, as this weekend she threw a curve ball into our racing program. With a huge storm that went thru Wisconsin that stalled air traffic and a mechanical failure that cancelled Michael's flight, we were at the race this weekend without one of the key ingredients (a rider). Yeah, this threw a big monkey wrench in our plans. The racing was very good this weekend and the Huffmans did a great job keeping the track in good
